Union minister and Punjab BJP president, Vijay Sampla today said that BJP has
realized the ideology of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and by developing the
Panchtiraths linked to the life of Dr. Ambedkar Prime Minister Narendra Modi has
honoured him. Addressing to the workers during the Bhartiya Janata Party SC
Morcha Sammelan at Buta Mandi in Jalandhar, Sampla said that during the
regime of Atal Bihari Vajpayee a monument was erected at Dr. Ambedkar’s birth
place and started managing the places where he received his education and
ordination but the governments thereafter forgot them. He said that the present
Centre government has again started preserving his legacy.
Sampla said, “By launching the National SC/ST Hub, Zero Defect Zero Effect and
Venture Captial Fund schemes PM Modi has provided support to entrepreneurs
form the community. Those who used to seek jobs will now create jobs for others.
The community will now progress and add to the economic growth of the nation”.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Finance, Arjun Meghwal launched an
offensive against the Congress stating that the Congress party hated Dr.
Ambedkar. He said, “Congress governments failed to bring about social and
economic equality whereas PM Modi has realized the dreams of the SC
community. Under Stand-Up India a SC person can avail a loan ranging from Rs.
10 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore, while under the Venture Capital Fund a minimum of Rs. 50
lakhs and a maximum of Rs. 15 crores can be availed”. Meghwal also claimed that
the SC community would benefit the most from the demonitisation drive, which is
set to bring in economic and social equality and will reduce the gap between the
rich and the poor.
Addressing the workers, Morcha’s nation president and MP Vinod Sonkar said,
“Former PM Indira Gandhi was also advised to take the step of demonitisation,
but fearing loss of power she did nothing, whereas PM Modi took this brave
decision which has agitated the black money holders and the corrupt”.
Congratulating the people of Chandigarh for the landslide victory of the BJP in the
MC polls, Sonkar said that the victories in Chandigarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and
Rajasthan were a stamp of approval on BJP’s policies. Taking a dig at the BSP
Sonkar said that the party claimed to be a representative of the dalits, but the
community had shut the doors on it during the last Parliamentary elections. He
also exhorted the Morhca workers to question Arvind Kejriwal as to what he has
done for the dalit community and thwart his advances into Punjab.
Former national president of the BJP SC Morcha, Dushyant Gautam also spoke
on the occasion stating that Dr. Ambedkar had advocated that currency should be
replaced every 10 years. “PM Modi has followed his ideology and initiated steps
against black money”, he said adding that this step has relieved the dalits.
Gautam also lauded the Akali-BJP coalition government for renovating Bhagwan
Valmiki Ji temple in Ramtirath, Amritsar and Guru Ravidass Ji temple in
State organizational secretary Dinesh Kumar, Cabinet Minister Bhagat Chunni La,
BJP state SC Morcha president Manjit Bali, MLAs- Manoranjan Kalia, K.D. Bhandari
and Somprakash, BJP state secretaries-Kewal Kumar and Jeevan Kumar, famous
Sufi artist and BJP leader Hansraj Hans attended the Sammelan among other
senior leaders of the party.
