Iqbal Singh Lalpura to supervise programs and make necessary arrangements

The Punjab unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party has decided to celebrate former prime minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee’s birthday as ‘Sushasan Diwas’. Various district and tehsil-level programs have been planned across the state to pay tributes to the Ex-PM.
Providing more information, state party secretary Vineet Joshi said, A committee has been formed for the execution of these programs of which senior party leader Iqbal Singh Lalpura has been made the convener. Lalpura has been directed to make necessary arrangements for the celebrations by state party president Vijay Sampla. Meanwhile, Punjab health minister Surjit Kumar Jyani will extend help on behalf of the Punjab government. Besides, Yagyadutt Aeri, Rajinder Bitta, Rajneesh Bedi and Mohan Lal Garg have been appointed members of the committee.
Committee’s convener, Iqbal Singh Lalpura will look after the arrangements in Ropar, Nawanshehar, Mohali, Hoshiarpur, Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala (North). Yagyadutt Aeri will take care of programs in Jalandhar (North), Jalandhar (South), Jalandhar (Urban), Kapurthala, Taran Tarn, Ferozepur and Moga while Rajinder Bitta has been handed responsibilities in the districts of Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Mukerian, Amritsar (Rural and Urban) and Batala. Rajneesh Bedi will execute the functions in Sangrur, Khanna, Ludhiana, Jagraon, Patiala (Urban) and Patiala (Rural South). Menwhile, Mohan Lal Garg will look after the arrangements in Sangrur-2, Bathinda (Urban and Rural), Muktsar, Mansa, Fazilka, Barnala and Ferozepur districts.
