The decision to give two lakhs compensation to persons arrested for dishonouring the Red Fort on Republic day this year is totally arbitrary and anti national. Said Mr Ashwani sharma state party President here today. The chief Minister Mr Charanjit Singh Channi has no right to squander the hard earned money of the tax payers by doling out money from the state exchequer. “ Mr Channi needs a reminder that the state treasury is not his personal fiefdom and there is no place for people who indulge in anti national activities.” Said Mr Sharma.
It is unfortunate that on the auspicious republic day anti national elements in the garb of farmers protest barged into the historic Red Fort which is a symbol of our nation’s sovereignty. 400 police personnel were seriously injured in this mayhem. Said Mr Sharma. The congress party since 1947 has fanned communal disharmony and history is witness that the Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs faced the brunt of riots with there blood. 1984 was no different. The congress has been spear heading the farmers agitation . The decision to give compensation to anti nationals by Mr Charanjit Singh Channi has exposed the conspiracy which has been hatched by the congress. Said Sharma.
The Congress has even objected to revoking the 370 article by saying that it is against the spirit of federal structure. We make an appeal to the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and Mr Amit Shah the home Minister that the NIA should investigate the role of congress leaders involved with the anti national persons . Said the state BJP President
