Punjab unit of the Bhartiya Janata Party today deputed special election incharges to all the 23 Assembly constituencies of its quota from the Akali-BJP alliance. A 23-member team has been constituted under the leadership of state party president, Vijay Sampla which will take care of the poll campaign of the alliance’s candidates in various constituencies and will prepare a strategy to ensure their victory.
Giving out details, state party general secretary, Manjit Singh Rai said, “Vineet Joshi has been deputed as the poll incharge in Jalandhar Central. Similarly, Tejaswi Bhardwaj has been deployed in Jalandhar North, Rakesh Rathour in Jalandhar West, Jaishree Gulati in Amritsar Central, Reena Jaitley in Amritsar North, Adarsh Bhatia in Amritsar East, Subhash Sharma in Amritsar West, Jeevan Gupta in Pathankot, Narinder Parmar in Bhoa, Suresh Bhatia in Sujanpur, Anil Sachar in Hoshiarpur, Umesh Shakar in Mukerian, Vijay Puri in Dasuya, Iqbal Singh Lalpura in Phagwara and Veeranwali has been made poll incharge of Dinanagar”.
Rai further said. “Sandeep Rinwa has been handed over the charge of Firozepur, Amandeep Punia of Fazilka, Subodh Verma of Abohar and Punia, Archana Dutt of Rajpura, and Varinder Kaur Thandi of Shri Anandpur Sahib. Anil Sarin and Sukesh Kalia will take care of Ludhiana West, Rajkumar Pathi will handle Ludhiana North and Renu Thapar will look after Ludhiana Central”.
