Second phase of the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra to commence from Shri Anandpur Sahib today

Yatra receives huge public support under the leadership of Vijay Sampla

Punjab Bhartiya Janata Party will on Tuesday launch the second phase of its Vijay Sankalp Rath Yatra from Shri Anandpur Sahib. Union Minister and state party president Vijay Sampla will start the second phase after seeking blessings at Shir Kesargarh Sahib and after traversing through various villages and towns the Yatra will reach Phagwara by evening.
Giving out details, state party secretary Vineet Joshi said, “The Vijay Sakalp Rath Yatra commenced from Hussainiwala on December 29, 2016 after paying tributes at the Martyr’s Memorial and covered the constituencies of Feroepur, Fazilka, Abohar and Rajpura in its first phase. On January 3, the Vijay Rath will pass through Guru Ravidass Chowk, Ganguwal, Dher, Bhanupalli, Brahmpur, Nangal Railway Road and Truck Union Chowk in Shri Anandpur Sahib and then will leave for Phagwara. In Phagwara, party leaders will address public gatherings at Gandhi Chowk and Nainawala Chowk. On January 4, the Rath will pass through Ludhiana (Central), Ludhiana (North) and Ludhiana (East) constituencies, while on January 5, the Yatra will reach Jalandhar (Central), Jalandhar (North) and Jalandhar (East). On January 6, the Hoshiarpur, Dasua and Mukerian constituencies would be covered. On January 7, the Yatra will pass through Pathankot and Sujanpur and will enter Bhoga. On the final day, the Yatra will start from Dinanagar and conclude in Amritsar after showing up in Amritsar (Central), Amritsar (East), Amritsar (West) and Amritsar (North).
